Privacy Policy
Clip Nugget is a desktop app and this website, run by an individual. Questions: support@clipnugget.com.
What we collect
- If you join the mailing list, the email you submit.
- If you create an account, your email and a password hash. The password itself is not stored.
- If you buy Pro, the email on the payment and the license key we issue. Card numbers are handled by Creem, the merchant of record. We never see them.
- A session cookie while you are logged in.
- Server logs, which may include your IP address, browser, and the page you requested.
What stays on your computer
Your video files are not uploaded. Cutting, reframing, captions, and rendering run locally. If you run highlight detection, only the transcript text is sent to the model provider you chose, or through our AI Cloud proxy if you use that add-on.
Why we keep it
To send the app, issue, resend and check license keys, run an optional account, and answer support mail. You can email us to delete a mailing-list address or an account. A license record stays after a refund so we can show that the key was revoked.
