Add captions to a video without uploading it
Wrap the line, then burn it in locally. A caption website is optional, and for an unreleased cut it is the wrong place.
A Short without words is a silent rectangle. The usual fix is to upload the video to a caption site. If the recording is unreleased, that is the step to skip.
Wrap the sentence first
Burned-in lines that run off the frame are unread. The caption splitter breaks text you paste into short rows. It does not hear the audio, and it does not send the text anywhere.
Transcribe on the machine
Local captions in Clip Nugget run Whisper on your computer and burn the words into the export. The video file stays on disk. This is not a library of animated caption looks. Submagic is the product that leads with that catalog.
Keep the line inside the UI
After the captions exist, check them against the safe zone. The bottom band is where the platform puts its own text. Your line should sit above it.
